Casella di testo: Evergreen Environment – Our Pledge Since it’s first beginning, we has had a sincere and dedicated conviction that our forests are our future. There are multitudes of reasons why the people at our Company are committed to efforts that strengthen the health and continued revitalization of the woodlands. In an effort to put their feelings into action, we developed what is referred to as the EverGreen pledge. Later, in the year 2003, we gave even more credence to their commitment by launching the EverGreen Initiative. Our Products has long recognized the importance of environmental concerns and the praiseworthy efforts of such groups as the Sustainable Forestry Initiative and the Forest Stewardship Council. These organizations, with their focus on sound harvesting practices and the commitment to create a healthy and sustainable forest, move the procurement part of wood products industry in exactly the right direction. However, it is understood that sometimes the best of intentions are only a good beginning.
